Dental Health Checks

A dental health check-up allows the dentist to see if you have any dental problems and helps you keep your mouth healthy. We don’t just concentrate on your teeth, a comprehensive oral health check is a major component of the appointment which will comprise: a discussion, an oral examination and may include taking x-rays.

Symptoms

  • 6 months or more since you last saw a dentist
  • Problem or concern with your teeth or mouth

Treatment

At Repton Dental we ensure that every patient has individual and personal attention, plenty of time and a first-class service experience. Every time we see you for a Dental Health Check we check:

  • Any concerns you may have
  • Any specific risks to your oral health e.g smoking, stress etc.
  • The health of your teeth
  • The health and stability fillings, crowns etc. that you may have
  • Oral cancer checks to ascertain the health of the inside of your mouth
  • The health of your jaw joint
  • A general health review including all medications; as many conditions and medications can affect the mouth.
  • The health of your lymph nodes and salivary glands
  • The health of bone levels and the areas inside, under and between teeth

We are a fully independent practice and only accept private patients. We do offer affordable dental membership plans to help spread with the cost of
